About the Addison Township Mental Health Board

In 2022, Addison Township voters approved a referendum to create the Addison Township Mental Health Board, which funds mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and substance use services for residents.

In February 2023, a board of seven members, including mental health experts and community
representatives, was appointed. These non-paid volunteers, with various government and mental health backgrounds, work together to raise mental health awareness, eliminate stigma, and ensure accessible, high-quality care for all residents.
