This half million dollars is a very small down payment for the health and welfare of our constituents. These eight professional organizations have been vetted thoroughly and will optimize these grant dollars to their highest possible.”

About the Addison Township Mental Health Board
In 2022, Addison Township voters approved a referendum to create the Addison Township Mental Health Board, which funds mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and substance use services for residents.
In February 2023, a board of seven members, including mental health experts and community
representatives, was appointed. These non-paid volunteers, with various government and mental health backgrounds, work together to raise mental health awareness, eliminate stigma, and ensure accessible, high-quality care for all residents.
